Controller Unit (w/ power supply)

This component is the weakest part of the system. I love the foot bath and the effect has on a grandson (with ADHD and developmental delays similar to Asperger’s) we are attempting to detox. He shows major improvement in bodily function control and language usage when we do the foot bath routine weekly. Unfortunately, the system went out after 10 months and I thought (because the power supply disc was lighting up and seemed to be working), it was the array or the transformer so I ordered them. Love that the company chose to send me a new power supply (this white part in addition to what I had ordered), because that is what finally made it work. But, the new one will not shut off until I disconnect it from the power supply. I fear it will not last, but am hoping for the best.
Bottom line: this is a company that seems to want to do right by the customer, but this component is weak and it needs to be updated somehow.

Came with the control unit broken where it plugs in. Customer service sucks.

Not only did my unit not work at all, but all of my confidence in this company went out the window when I called their customer service number from the brochure, stating this department was open 24 hours a day seven days a week, only to have a recording tell me “sorry but we’re closed“

We have never owned a foot bath before. Our doc recommended it so we bought this one. The timer does not work. It will not go past 10 minutes. I called customer service and they texted me back saying to use only spring water and maybe a 1/2 tsp of salt. Great, I thought! They mentioned the timer has an auto shut off if too much salt is detected in the water. I was hopeful, but the timer still shuts off after ten minutes in pure spring water with NO added salt. I called again, no one answered the phone. left a message and I am waiting to hear back from a human. I was hesitant to purchase this unit because of the bad reviews on the "new" timer model... it seems the bad reviews are true. I hope they replace my timer or I will be forced to return the entire kit through AMazon and purchase from a different company. I LOVE the ergonomics of the tub but the timer is a let down. Plus the timer is feather light so it doesn't balance itself on a table. AND where the power cord gets plugged into the timer is a loose connection. Poor design. very sad for what I paid. hoping they make it right.

I read Marilee's review, and I agree with her completely! She described my exact same issues.
Better Health Company's old unit (blue with white trim) worked perfectly every time without any problems, and without having to add salt; I miss that old unit too! This unit (white one) does not work and should not be marketed and sold as a working product. I took these 2 pictures on the same day at the same time, 20 minutes into the detox for both of us. My husband is using the old unit, and I'm using the new unit. You can see the difference. The old unit has no salt added, and pulls out perfectly. The new unit I tried without salt first, and didn't pull, so I added salt and this is the best it could do. I had another friend buy a new unit (the white one) and it doesn't work for her either and she has had the same issues. BHC needs to throw this unit out and not market another one until they have a product that works.
